The ultimate expression of a Dedicated Disciple is a life characterized by the heart of a servant. We call this over-arching area of our fellowship “Servanthood” and we believe it is the very call of Christ for us as a church family.
In The Church
It takes a lot of volunteers for the ministries of Northway to happen! From preschool and children’s workers to facilities to First Impression folks, our dream is that every member of Northway is serving somewhere within the church on a Ministry Team. In the Community
In addition to our own initiatives (homebound visitation, parks & recreation, etc.), we have strategically partnered with Interfaith of The Woodlands to minister to our community all year long in very practical ways. While The Woodlands may be an affluent city, we have discovered that our mission field is not short on ways to show the love of Christ by being His hands to many people in need.
In The World
While our fellowship has historically been faithful in giving to Southern Baptist world mission initiatives, we find ourselves becoming more and more hands on with our efforts. While we continue to support those initiatives, (including an emphasis on world hunger), we have establishing Strategic Missions Partnerships in Canada, Africa, and Central America where our people not only can give financially and stay in personal contact via internet, but are taking annual and semiannual trips to these locations to put feet on the ground. We have intentionally limited our number of partnerships to increase our effectiveness and opportunities for our people to see first hand where their giving goes.
